Curl has been a significant part of the Rams' defense since joining the team in 2024, and he was rewarded with a three-year, $36 million extension this offseason. After playing primarily as a true free safety in his first year with the team, Curl seemingly gained the trust of the coaching staff last season and took on more versatile responsibilities, which at times brought him closer to the line of scrimmage. That versatility also allowed him to stay on the field constantly, as he never logged below a 94 percent defensive snap rate across all 20 games (including the postseason) the Rams played. The result was a breakout season and the most well-rounded stat line of his career. Curl set career-high marks in tackles, matched his career-high in sacks (2.0) and picked off multiple passes for the first time since his rookie season. A full repeat may not be possible simply due to variance, but Curl is locked in as a key playmaker in the Los Angeles secondary and should be a valuable IDP option once again in 2026.
