Helm caught 44 of 55 targets for 357 yards and two TDs as a rookie after being selected in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft out of Texas, where he posted a 60-786-7 line in his senior season. The 6-foot-5 TE gradually took over as Tennessee's top option at the position, playing more than half of the team's offensive snaps in six of the final seven games, and he enters 2026 as the Titans' undisputed No. 1 tight end after Chig Okonkwo signed with Washington in the offseason. There are plenty of questions about Tennessee's entire offense after the Titans scored the third-fewest points in the NFL last season, but 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward showed some improvement under center down the stretch, and Helm figures to provide a respectable floor as a dependable target for Ward, though Helm lacks the shiftiness that helped Okonkwo produce a team-high 560 receiving yards in 2025. Helm shouldn't be expected to absorb all or even most of that production, as offseason WR additions Carnell Tate (fourth overall pick) and Wan'Dale Robinson (free-agent signing) will likely be prioritized ahead of the second-year TE.
