Battle has one of the best names in the NBA, but he's unlikely to be asked to do much this year. This big man saw his playing time dip from 17.7 minutes in 2024-25 to 8.5 minutes last year. That's no surprise since Collin Murray-Boyles looked so good in his rookie season, and it's unlikely to get any better after the offseason trade for Kawhi Leonard. In that small role last season, Battle averaged 3.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.1 steals per game. That's not exactly the sort of stat line begging for more minutes, especially since this is a third-year player at 25-years-old. The one silver lining is that Sandro Mamukelashvili is out of the picture while Leonard has struggled to play a full season. That could allow Battle to creep back up above 10 minutes a night, but he really won't be fantasy relevant unless we see that total creep above 20 minutes.
