Wilson was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, landing in what can only be seen as a favorable position. He played four games in the recent Summer League, averaging 21.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 three-pointers and 3.8 combined steals and blocks. While he was able to get to the line with regularity, the fact that he shot just 33.3 percent is a little concerning. Given the lack of depth at the power forward position in Chicago, there is a decent chance Wilson assumes the starting role from day one. This at least puts him on the fantasy radar across all formats. The question will be, just how high will managers have to reach to get him? Playing alongside Josh Giddey, Norman Powell, Matas Buzelis and Nic Claxton, there is a chance Chicago will be one of, if not the fastest team in the league this season. While this doesn't necessarily mean the team will achieve success, it does bode well for the projected fantasy value of players like Wilson. Cameron Boozer is likely to be the first rookie drafted in most leagues, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Wilson at least in the discussion. While there is always some risk associated with drafting a rookie, Wilson's floor should mean that considering him in the eighth or ninth round is a risk worth taking.
