The Seahawks hope Arroyo can overcome his lengthy history of knee injuries to make the most of his impressive physical traits. He had just 11 catches in his first three seasons at the University of Miami, with knee injuries costing him large chunks of the 2022 and 2023 campaigns, before breaking out for a 35-590-7 receiving line in 13 games last year. Arroyo then suffered another knee injury at the Senior Bowl, which prevented him from doing pre-draft testing but didn't stop Seattle from picking him 50th overall. At 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, Arroyo has prototypical size and speed for a NFL tight end, making him a threat to eventually surpass both Noah Fant and AJ Barner on Seattle's depth chart. Arroyo confirmed in May that he's no longer bothered by his knee injury from the Senior Bowl, potentially setting the stage for full participation in spring practices and training camp.
