A third-round pick in April, Milroe won't challenge new Seahawks QB Sam Darnold for the starting job (not yet, anyway), but he could get a few snaps per game in packages designed to exploit his elite athleticism and rushing ability. This isn't Taysom Hill 2.0, though. The team views him as a quarterback, not simply a gadget player. Milroe has plenty of standout traits -- exceptional arm strength, size (6-2, 217), smarts (Academic Heisman) and tremendous speed. He was clocked at 22.5 mph on a TD run last year -- faster than any run in the NFL in 2024 -- and set an Alabama QB record with 20 rushing scores. Milroe's accuracy is the issue, as he often had poor ball placement on routine throws. On the other hand, he threw 10 TDs and no interceptions last season on passes 20-plus yards downfield. The only QB with a better TD:INT ratio on such throws was No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward (12:0). Milroe may not get playing time early on apart from gadget plays, but he's athletic enough to provide fantasy value if he eventually makes starts.
