Samson Ebukam signed with the Colts in 2023 and had a career season, setting career highs in tackles (57), tackles for loss (10), pressures (48), sacks (9.5) and stops (38). Unfortunately, a torn Achilles cost him his entire 2024 season. Ebukam returned in 2025 and played in 14 games, but was relegated to a 43% snap share playing behind Laiatu Latu and Kwity Paye. He logged 23 pressures and 2.0 sacks on just 234 pass-rushing snaps. The veteran edge rusher signed a one-year, $2.76 million contract with the Falcons this offseason to serve as an early-season replacement for James Pearce's sack production, but became one of the team's starting edge rushers when Jalon Walker tore his ACL during training camp. Ebukam will be one of the main pieces of Atlanta's pass rush rotation in 2025, which could yield good sack production in Jeff Ulbrich's defense. He is a player worth monitoring early in the season thanks to the lack of dependable pass rush production on Atlanta's defense.
