2026 Fantasy Outlook
Perine returned to Cincinnati once again in 2025, and once again provided the team with a solid depth option in the backfield, this time behind Chase Brown. The 30-year-old saw his receiving numbers fall to their lowest level since 2020, but he remained a useful grinder on the ground, averaging 4.5 yards per carry and still showing some ability to power through contact. Perine has never been the pure bruiser that his 5-11, 240-pound frame would suggest, but heading into his 10th NFL season he's carved out a fairly impressive career as something of a jack-of-all-trades who can offer a little bit of everything. The Bengals didn't do anything to bolster the RB room over the offseason, and 2025 sixth-round pick Tahj Brooks may be more useful on special teams than on offense, so Perine's spot could be more secure than you'd expect given his age and modest contract.
