2026 Fantasy Outlook
Allen signed with the Bills this offseason to replace Mitchell Trubisky, who rode the backup QB carousel to Tennessee, as the No. 2 option behind Josh Allen (no relation). The less-heralded Allen hasn't started a game since 2022 and has a 7-12 record as an NFL starter while having played for six different teams, including a 2023 stint with Buffalo during which he didn't throw a pass. If the starting Allen were to get hurt and snap his 122-game consecutive start streak, the backup Allen likely wouldn't be asked to do much more than manage the game while the offense leans on star RB James Cook.
