Palmer flashed as a big-play threat across his four seasons with the Chargers from 2021-24, but the inaugural campaign of his three-year deal with the Bills fell flat. Buffalo's decision to trade for DJ Moore provides the team a much-needed proven option alongside Khalil Shakir at wide receiver, leaving Palmer in position to compete with Keon Coleman for the No. 3 role. Given the involvement of RB James Cook on offense and thre presence of TEs Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox, targets likely will remain sporadic for Palmer.
