Devine Deablo had a career year in his first season with the Atlanta Falcons despite missing four games with a broken arm. In 13 games, Deablo had 73 tackles (38 solo), five tackles for loss, 1.0 sack and seven passes defended. Deablo's best football happened after he returned from his arm injury, with the veteran linebacker averaging 7.0 tackles (4.3 solo) per game over seven games. Deablo doesn't offer much turnover production or pass-rushing upside (just three fumble recoveries and 3.0 sacks in 67 career games), but his consistent tackle production (at least 63 tackles in four straight seasons) gives him a high floor. The Falcons put plenty of resources into their defensive line this offseason, signing Maason Smith and Da'Shawn Hand in free agency and trading for Gervon Dexter. Those players should occupy opposing offensive linemen better, giving Deablo more freedom to attack rush lanes and make plays in the backfield. He isn't a flashy name because of his lack of turnover production, but he should be a very steady IDP option in 2026.
