The Cincinnati Bengals made one of the biggest splash moves during the 2026 offseason, trading the tenth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft for veteran defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence. Lawrence was a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro from 2022 to 2024 with the Giants, registering 165 tackles (90 solo), 22 tackles for loss, 171 pressures and 21.0 sacks in 44 games played. He took a step back in 2025 with 31 tackles, 34 pressures and 0.5 sacks, which ultimately helped facilitate his trade. Lawrence was the crown jewel of a defensive line overhaul for Cincinnati this offseason, along with free agent signings Boye Mafe and Jonathan Allen and 2026 second-round pick Cashius Howell. Training camp reports indicated that Lawrence looked to be back in his prime form throughout the summer, consistently wrecking the offensive line in Cincinnati and joint practices. If Lawrence can prove his 2025 season was a blip, he can be one of the most disruptive defensive tackles in the NFL again in 2026.
