Cameron Thomas signed a one-year, $3.1 million contract this offseason with the Falcons. The move allowed him to reunite with Kevin Stefanski, his head coach over the last season and a half with the Browns. Thomas played in all 17 games for Cleveland in 2025 with 28 tackles and 2.5 sacks on a 29% snap share. The veteran edge rusher will be behind veterans Za'Darius Smith and Samson Ebukam on the depth chart, but could be relied on heavily as a rotational edge rusher with Jalon Walker out for the season with an injury and James Pearce missing eight games due to a suspension. Thomas has little to no appeal in IDP leagues unless the Falcons suffer another early-season injury on the edge.
