Trigg recorded 50 catches for 694 yards and six TDs as a fifth-year senior at Baylor in 2025 while making numerous highlight grabs, but he also had seven drops. He led all FBS tight ends with 32 catches of 10-plus yards and is considered a plus athlete, though empirical evidence is lacking since he didn't test at the NFL Scouting Combine. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound TE will need to refine his blocking and route running skills to earn playing time at the NFL level, and he shouldn't be expected to have much of a role out of the gate after signing with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent.
