Bagley played for the Wizards and Mavericks in the 2025-26 season, averaging 10.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and a combined 1.2 steals-plus-blocks in 60 appearances (12 starts). While he remains an effective finisher around the basket and a capable rebounder, the former No. 2 overall pick has struggled to establish long-term stability because of recurring injuries and inconsistent defensive play. His outlook entering 2026-27 depends heavily on where he fits in his new team, as he signed wth the Nuggets in the offseason. He should be the backup behind Nikola Jokic, meaning his minutes will be scarce and he wouldn't be likely to have a prominent role anytime soon. Thus, he's not a player you'd want to target in standard redraft formats, and he could have some limited upside in deeper leagues as a streaming alternative at best. The only scenario in which Bagley might see consistent playing time would be if Jokic misses extended time with an injury, and even in that scenario, he wouldn't have a prominent role on offense.
