Murray turned in the best regular season of his career in 2025-26, earning his first All-Star nod at age 29. He set career highs almost across the board -- 25.4 points, 7.1 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 3.3 threes on 48.3 percent shooting and 88.7 percent from the line -- while appearing in 75 games, his highest total since his rookie year. After failing to reach 60 games in several recent seasons, Murray largely played through a steady stream of nagging issues (calf, ankle, hip, hamstring and a late shoulder impingement) rather than missing extended time. He was also spectacular carrying the offense during Jokic's 16-game knee absence, piling up assists and unloading two 50-point outbursts (52 vs. Indiana, 53 vs. Dallas). The lone blemish came in the playoffs, where Minnesota smothered his efficiency in a first-round exit. Looking ahead, Murray's situation is stable in the ways that matter most. Denver reportedly has no interest in trading him and views him as a cornerstone next to Jokic, and the two-man game between them remains one of the league's most bankable sources of production. The roster around him is less settled, with the team losing Peyton Watson and gaining DeMar DeRozan over the summer. Treat him as a reliable early-to-mid-round target, with massive upside whenever Jokic is sidelined and Murray inherits the keys to the offense.
