Johnson was scarcely used across five regular-season appearances as a rookie in 2024, but he suited up for all 17 games in 2025 and totaled four catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. As a second-year pro, Johnson also accounted for 685 kickoff-return yards and 291 more yards fielding punts. Injuries to the Buccaneers' wide receiver corps in 2025 allowed Johnson to see increased work, so in 2026 his best path to the field will likely again be in the return game.
