Rachaad white or Isiah Pacheco?
Leaning White due to receiving upside
Pacheco easily to me
It’s close. I do believe Pacheco will benefit from a more efficient Chiefs offense as they try to balance the touch load and possibly run more by getting early leads. But White is going to see better running lanes with Tampas investment in the interior offensive line and his usage should be at the top of the rb position.
Pach
@jimmikmik I never said Whites efficiency is why you draft him. I believe his YPC can do nothing but go up with the changes to the line and Liam Cohen bringing the offense to Tampa that was built around Gurley. Even with his inefficient YPC with what you stated he was much more valuable last season than Pacheco for fantasy purposes. Standard league. Pacheco. Ppr toss-up.
White could actually lose some passing work to Bucky. End of the day he has added competition. In KC, chiefs let McKinnon walk and brought in nobody. If anything we’re also seeing increased competition for white and decreased for Pacheco. Receiving work is probably similar between them, and Pacheco has the advantage on the ground by a lot
@jimmikmik I guess no matter what I say you will be the contrarian in this thread. Tampa Bay and Cohen had the opportunity draft Ray Davis who he made into a very effective rb that profiles similar to White. They passed. Irving is a gadget 10 touch or less guy. Every rb has a backup. Irving is whites if he can beat out Edmonds. And I agree White might lose some touches this season but not in the pass game work. That’s his elite trait. Why would you as a play caller take that away? 20 more receptions for 300 more yards than Pacheco.
Pacheco also missed 3 games, so he had more receiving work partially because he had more games played
Pacheco @JayDaDon24
And again, Bucky is the new #2. I never implied he’d overtake White
And Bucky is a legit pass catcher
@jimmikmik I think I mentioned they went with Bucky over Davis.
White was an absolute workhorse because they had literally nobody else, now they have Bucky
I get it you prefer Pacheco.
They got the guy they want to play complementary football to White
Same could be said about Pacheco. Kelce missed time and all they had was Rashee.
Added WR competition isn’t added RB competition lmao
You think Worthy is gonna take snaps away from Pacheco? Lol
The only reason white was great for fantasy was because he was the unquestioned workhorse. And now they go get a solid pass catching rb to bring in to take some work off of him, where they do the opposite in KC and are looking like they’ll use Pacheco even more
@jimmikmik I was referring to you saying that was all they had. I think Tampas wrs are superior to The chiefs this season last season. Pacheco had to compete with the same caliber player in McKinnon as white did with Edmonds. Mckinnon was injured. Which made Pacheco Defacto workhorse. Unless I am watching wrong season.
@jimmikmik if you had White and were going to pursue Pacheco how much would you add to White to get Pacheco? What’s the value difference?
And actually, in the 4 games McKinnon missed, Pacheco averaged 4.75 receptions per game. That’s an 81 reception pace for the full season which greatly outpaced White
@OldeManStrength
So I mean if we want to talk about receiving work, based on that small sample Pacheco has the clear higher ceiling
