If the Knicks keep Terry I think he’ll provide some great moments off the bench defensively and hit a 3 or two and/or a nice slam, BUT I actually do expect the Knicks to re-route him.
His expiring deal is VERY enticing for selling teams.
If not, I’ll happily welcome him.
FWIW, the Knicks imo still need a backup big. The hold-up in initial Yabusele talks was that no teams wanted to take on his 2nd year (especially without pick compensation).
The Knicks landed Terry & retained their picks.
His expiring deal, if the Knicks wanted to, probably lands them the guys they inquired about previously.
I don’t expect the Knicks to necessarily move him, BUT for the lack of assets they gave up to acquire him, I think it’ll be considered.
