Former NBA player John Henson has officially announced his retirement.
After a career marred by injury, Henson's most recent stint in the NBA was a 10-day contract with the Knicks in April 2021, although he did not participate in any games.
Henson, who was the 14th overall pick in the 2012 draft, averaged 7.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in his career, spanning from 2012-2020, mostly due to wrist and hamstring injuries.
He has passed up offers to remain involved in basketball, opting instead to focus on media jobs.
