For the last 15ish years, I had written off FF, because I thought that it was so saturated that there was no advantage to knowing the game. But since I’ve been back, I realized most don’t actually understand the game they’re playing BECAUSE online does all the work for them. And most of online is talking heads that know more about the NFL and less about FF. And the difference is subtle, but very deep

Throw in continual offense-supporting rules and Belichek’s algorithmic approach to play calling, and it brought about 2 decades of complex offensive layers, utilizing all personnel on the field to move the ball.
