Exciting news! We have our first adhoc league dropping today. It’s a $200 league and follows all of the same settings as the exec leagues. Everything you need to know if pinned like normal, within the league.
Please join, and upon payment, you will be assigned a spot. I have no idea if this will fill fast or not, so I’m not going to follow the way we’ve been doing the exec leagues in terms of first to join, gets first option to pay. Once paid, type PAID in the league chat and I’ll pin it. Thank you.
This brings me to my final update I wanted to bring.
Commissioner Fee:
Last year I ran close to 30 leagues (including the exec leagues) and I absolutely love doing it. I enjoy the community we have here and what we’ve got going. I hope it continues for many years to come. With that being said, my time is becoming more and more eaten up by real life responsibilities. I am introducing a 10% commissioner fee for all of the NON exec leagues. This will help me in justifying (to my wife and kids) the many hours I spend across all of the leagues. This small fee will be taken out at the end of the year, and will be used to buy my children new shoes, school uniforms, and of course, food for them. 😂
I hope this news is well received. I understand some people are staunchly against commissioner fees/dues and that’s ok. But when you join one of my leagues, you know you’ll be getting a fair, competitive, and fun league. This in no way impacts the executive leagues.

Since there can be scrambles to get in and paid…. I’m going to try and order it in this way.
If you join the league, and you’re one of the first 12 to join, you get a spot. But it must be paid within the hour. Otherwise it given to the next person who had joined.
I want to avoid multiple people paying for the same spot and then having to get refunds.

auto sub feature - it is turned on for all my leagues. It is set to not allow you to sub a player that has already played. This isn’t up for debate. I’m just letting you know that it’s set that way.
Bench players - they can be dropped, even after they play. Don’t cry about it. Embrace it.
The season is upon us. The first leg of this journey is complete: drafting. Now we move onto the next… conquest. Good luck everyone.

on the note of the auto sub feature.
Stating this now. To get out ahead of it. There is nothing I can do, if you think you setup an auto sub, the app glitches, or maybe you misremembered and the auto sub doesn’t go into effect. The responsibility is still only on each manager. I will make no adjustments if this goes sideways during the season. (Unless sleeper makes a statement that there was a documented glitch) you get the idea.

A women in her late 60s, well dressed, with gobs of jewelry and designer hand bags on her arms, paraded down the storefront line. So many designer bags. Each one swallowing the one next to it in size and grandeur.
She stops, and calls out, “johnnnnnnnn!! Ooo johhhhhhn!” Out from behind the soda machine, a muscular young man pops out holding a portable backyard sunshade on wheels. Hes good lookin, and can’t be more than 22. He looks like he was catching his breath because not only did he have the sunshade with him, he had nearly 20 shopping bags filled to the brim draped over and around his body.
“Coming Sheryl!!!”
His hand crafted leather boat shoes slapped across the hot concrete. Being the boy toy for a windowed oil baron’s wife wasn’t easy, but the perks were nice… and besides, John was in it for the long game… he had bigger plans for Sheryl.

There will be a couple of changes for the exec leagues this year.
They are as follows.
1. We are dropping 1 IR spot.
This is to force managers to have to make tougher in season decisions.
2. We are dropping 1 bench spot.
This is also to force managers to make tougher decisions during the season, and make the waiver wire more alive and not so barren.
3. We are dropping the 12th exec league. Going forward with 11. This is to make sure that the winner of the founders league can stay in the league and defend the title without having to re-qualify.
4. Waivers are going to stay the same, except for the time of day they run on Wednesdays. Instead of the middle of the night, they will run at 10pm ct on Wednesday. (This will be true for all extra leagues I run as well)
5. Trade deadline is moving from week 9, to week 11.
