Former NBA veteran, Goran Dragic, recalled the extraordinary event of being traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Houston Rockets in the middle of a flight to Canada.
The trade took place just prior to the NBA trade deadline in February 2011.
After landing in Toronto, Dragic immediately flew to Houston and had his first game with the Rockets against the Brooklyn Nets the next day.
Although this episode was unexpected, the professional athlete adapted quickly, emblematic of his resilience and commitment to the sport.

Per @eric_nehm, if Giannis can clear pregame tests, the Bucks are optimistic that he will make his return on Saturday.
AJ Green tied his season high in 3PM 🎯
All I want for Christmas is to see the Greek Freak healthy and back out on the court🎄
Most Improved Player? 📈
Ryan Rollins has completely transformed his game this year for the Bucks.
2024: 6.2 PPG | 1.9 RPG | 1.8 APG
2025: 17.2 PPG | 4.1 RPG | 5.8 APG
Should Rollins be the MIP frontrunner?
In an attempt to improve the roster around Giannis, the Bucks have been linked to Jerami Grant, Corey Kispert, and Andrew Wiggins, per @BrettSiegelNBA
(h/t @Fullcourtpass)
Over the last 3 games, Ryan Rollins has played:
⌚️ 22 mins vs MIN
⌚️ 28 mins vs TOR
⌚️ 22 mins vs BKN
We’ve seen the KPJ and Rollins backcourt experiment already. Will Doc not give them both heavy minutes?
Bobby Portis this season:
12.4 PTS
6.1 REB
48.8 FG%
Should BP be involved in trade talks in an attempt to find supporting pieces to better suit Giannis and the Bucks?
