The Los Angeles Lakers have decided not to convert two-way centers Trey Jemison III and Christian Koloko to standard contracts, rendering them ineligible for the playoffs despite their earlier contributions.
Instead, the Lakers have opted to maintain team chemistry and playoff eligibility by retaining guard Jordan Goodwin after waiving veteran Cam Reddish.
Additionally, center Alex Len remains on the roster, contrary to expectations of him being waived to accommodate a two-way player.

Marcus Smart talks about the #Lakers' trouble on defense:
"The scouting report against us is we're not guarding people. And if we want to be great in this league and do what we're trying to do, you have to be able to guard."
