Texans mock draft with draft month here. - Iheanachor & Lew provide high upside options across the OL at RT/C that can compete for spots moving forward. - Anthony Hill & Dominique Orange give the Texans a very athletic high upside LB and a DT who can anchor/take on double teams. - Johnson & Boerkircher provide key depth at RB & TE who fit well with the Texans scheme. Would have liked to add DE earlier but just didn’t fall how I wanted.

The Texans are NOT expected to extend QB C.J. Stroud ahead of the 2026 season sources tell @jjones9. Houston is reportedly expected to accept his 5th year option which would put him under contract through 2027.

Over the past 3 seasons there are only 2 QBs to be top 20 in EPA/Play while also having a bottom 5 run game in EPA/Rush & Rushing Success Rate: - Texans QB C.J. Stroud - Chargers QB Justin Herbert Houston’s run game is ranked 31st in both Success Rate & EPA/Rush over those seasons.

I’d like to see the Texans take some swings on high upside OL prospects compared to the more high floor ones with their current OL situation. - They have their likely 4/5 starters with Andrews being the only question. - They have top backups like Trent & Evan Brown. Some prospects that I like for this mold for Houston: - Max Ihenachor (Day 1/2) - Chase Bisontis (Day 1/2) - Connor Lew (Day 2) - Jalen Farmer (Day 2/3) - Dametrious Crownover (Day 2/3) - Keylan Rutledge (Day 2)
