Demeco Ryans talked about C.J. Stroud getting more comfortable and communicating better heading into year 2 with Nick Caley in his presser today: “He's done a really good job of commanding the offense. Great job of communicating with everyone, Oline, receivers, tight ends, backs. He's done a great job just having all those guys together leading, speaking up in meetings, doing all those things you expect from your starting quarterback. CJ has handled himself tremendous all offseason.”

The Texans worked out OT Max Pircher today. He is a candidate for the practice squad international pathway player which he has been since 2021 for different teams including the Rams & Seahawks. He has played 18 total snaps in the pre-seasons split behind LT/RG/RT.
