I would assume one of the main goals for Houston on the defensive side this offseason would be getting younger at the DT spot around Tommy Togiai. I would say choose between 2 of Rankins/Autry/Settle/Edwards who are either upcoming FAs are possible cut candidates. I also think Houston should pick a DT sometime between day 1-2 to build around longterm.

Some potential options for the Texans if Dino Vasso & Cory Undlin got DC jobs - Texans safety coach Stephen Adegoke promoted to DBs coach He’s been the Texans safety coach since 2023 and was in SF with Demeco Ryans before that. - Texans defensive assistant Cole Weeks promoted to Defensive Passing Game Coordinator He is a former college QB & offensive assistant but has transitioned to defense under Demeco Ryans since being hired in 2023.

Here is my Texans mock offseason 1.0 using @StickToTheModel's simulator. - The money would probably change a bit but Hall/Mays/Seumalo would be a legit way of improving Houston's run game who really struggled this season. - For the mock I basically tried to just target fits because we know Nick Caserio isn't likely to use a number of this picks. Thoughts on this offseason?

Jeremy Fowler & Dan Graziano list the Texans defensive coaches Dino Vasso & Cory Undlin as potential DC options this offseason. - Dino Vasso is a candidate for the Arizona job and could be a candidate for the Vegas job. - Cory Undlin is a candidate for the Cleveland job having worked with Monken in Jacksonville. Houston may be looking to replace a few defensive roles this offseason.

The Texans have had a different player lead them in carries every season since 2018: 2025 - Woody Marks 2024 - Joe Mixon 2023 - Devin Singletary 2022 - Dameon Pierce 2021 - Rex Burkhead 2020 - David Johnson 2019 - Carlos Hyde 2018 - Lamar Miller Have to think finding stability at this position has to be a goal for the Texans.
