When C.J. Stroud is at his best he is ripping the football into the MOF & making plays out of structure.
Since he returned to the lineup vs Indy you have absolutely seen all of that & that continued vs AZ.
Playing awesome football really since Seattle.
No disrespect here to Mario Edwards Jr. but people are definitely overreacting to this news from what I’m seeing.
It’s a hit to the depth sure but Togiai/Rankins/Autry have all been much better this season.
Over Edwards 260+ snaps he has 9 run stops & 12 total pressures.
He’s been fine but nothing the Texan cannot replace.
Jawhar Jordan became the first Texans RB this season to have 100 rushing yards… in his first ever game.
Do you want to see more of Jordan?
Texans DT Mario Edwards Jr. ruptured his pec and is out for the season via HC Demeco Ryans.
The Texans have now lost 2 key IDL players in Tim Settle & Mario Edwards over the last 2 weeks
The Texans FINALLY!!! get some help from another team in their playoff race from Seattle this week.
Houston now has a game lead over Indy with the current H2H while being 2 games + H2H over Baltimore
The Athletic Simulator has the Texans at a 96% for a playoff birth currently.
Phillip Rivers last game winning drive was 12/20/20 vs the Texans according to the CBS Broadcast.
In that game for Houston:
- Their leading receiver was David Johnson
- Buddy Howell & Scottie Phillips took carries for HOU
- Chad Hansen & Kahale Warring each had 2 catches
- Tyrell Adams led the Texans in tackles
- Charles Omenihu had a sack
We have come a LONG way.
