Thoughts on the Metcalf incident. 1) absolute suspension. Tomlin should’ve sent him to the locker room immediately. But that would take leadership. 2) no, this incident ISN’T like Lamar Jackson incident. A) Lamar Jackson was assaulted first. Physical is different than verbal altercation. And it wasn’t even an insult apparently. And B) Lamar incident was on the way to the locker room. That’s the path he takes. And can’t avoid it. Metcalf did not have to engage with said fan.
