Brian Thomas Jr. to the #Commanders? ESPN's @john_keim isn't sold. With Terry McLaurin out, Keim says Washington already has its WR2s and WR3s and needs a true WR1: "I would be shocked if you can go out and get that now." He also pointed out BTJ has struggled in Liam Coen's offense, and that the LSU connection with Jayden only gets you so far in the NFL. To him, BTJ would be a depth add, not the answer. My two cents: I'm with John that replacing Terry isn't about reuniting college teammates, it's about adding a guy who can win on the outside right now. That said, I still think there's a case for going after BTJ. A talented young receiver your QB already trusts, on a rookie deal, is very valuable in today's NFL. He’ll help Daronte Jones and Dan Quinn with weekly game planning, but he won’t be with the team on game days.
