Sunday's 27-27 tie with the Giants was the 30th in Washington franchise history, and the 6th all-time against New York.
26 of the 30 came before regular-season overtime arrived in 1974. Since then, only 4:
1997 vs. NYG, 7-7 (the Gus Frerotte wall headbutt game)
2016 vs. CIN, 27-27 in London, the first tie in International Series history
2022 at NYG, 20-20
2026 vs. NYG, 27-27
3 of those 4 overtime-era ties came against the Giants, including the last two. Most in a single season: 3, back in 1967.
