On Oct.
13, 1989, the Minnesota Vikings had an historic trade where they dealt with four players and a series of eight draft picks, including three first- and second-rounders, to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for four draft picks and the then Pro Bowl running back Herschel Walker, who had previously rushed for 1,514 yards for Dallas.
After a disappointing three seasons, Walker left the Vikings and would play for an additional six seasons with other teams before winding up back with the Cowboys, whereas Dallas used the picks acquired from Minnesota to build a team that won three Super Bowls in the 1990s.

One of one.
Pardon My Take has named Justin Jefferson as their “good teammate of the year” in what may be the understatement of a lifetime
Mike Sando of The Athletic spoke to an agent who said the Vikings could be a sneaky team to pursue a trade for Lamar Jackson, saying “Lamar being traded could be similar to the Mavericks trading Luka Dončić”.
