Clearlake and the sporting directors are using Maresca as a scapegoat. Chelsea won the CWC, spent a bunch of money, and GOT WORSE. We will not find a better manger than Maresca right now and it’s clear that the issues are with the people running Chelsea The recruitment is dreadful. Clearlake has doubled down on their model of bringing in young players and selling most of them for profit. A glaring lack of experience is apparent in the squad and the ownership isn’t going to do anything about it
