Quansah made it just 30 minutes into Wednesday's clash before being forced off.
With Ibrahima Konate just returning from injury it was Wataru Endo who came on to replace Quansah.
Konate will remain the starter alongside Virgil van Dijk, though Endo is likely now third on the depth chart at center-back.
