Chargers wide receiver Derius Davis was seen wearing a walking boot on his ankle in the locker room on Thursday, according to @danielpopper.
Greg Roman said the workload split between Omarion Hampton and Kimani Vidal will remain fluid moving forward.
“It could change at a drop of a hat,” Roman said. “I’m always going to go with the hot hand. You get into the game and find out who has it.”
Roman added that both backs are currently playing well. “Right now I’m seeing two guys with the hot hand, which is a good problem to have.”
Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman addressed concerns about route spacing, noting that some routes are designed to protect others rather than create separation.
“One receiver may look unnecessary to the play, but he is acting as a shield,” Roman said.
The Chargers signed TE Tanner McLachlan to the practice squad and released Center Josh Kaltenberger from the practice squad.
