Be happy about this move, because Ernest has all the physicals to be a great all around linebacker. Great depth in the run defense, he can move downhill. And has good-great closing speed and instinct, I think we gave the titans a 4th so we don’t pay him his contract this year

Ernest jones is a better Jerome Baker, Baker doesn’t have any closing speed. He’s a liability in coverage

I knew Baker was likely out, he seemed to refuse to learn/play Mikes scheme. I dont love the depth behind Knight, maybe wouldve given a higher pick to get him and keep Baker. MacDonald is a LB coach at heart, gotta trust his process
