Roberto Duran, a renowned boxing legend, suffered his first professional loss to Esteban De Jesus in 1972 due to injuries he sustained from a car accident prior to the fight.
Despite the setback, Duran later avenged this loss with a win via TKO in a rematch two years later in Panama.
Duran went undefeated for another six years, including a third victory over De Jesus in 1978.
