The ECHL has approved the expansion application for a franchise in Augusta, Georgia that will begin play in 2027-28.
The team will be co-owned by former NFL QB and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, who is also a co-owner of the ECHL’s Tahoe Knight Monsters.
