Curry and LeBron combined ruined the NBA. Steph made everyone want to play like him because lighting it up from the outside is cool, but it worked only because his team was built around him for that. If everyone tries to copy, it then becomes a very cheap product.
LeBron made running from adversity cool when he joined the Heat, and then played a bunch of solo ball on the Lakers demanding everything from certain teammates in FA and the draft. He demanded everything and gave back nothing during his time in LA.
