San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan expressed continued confidence in kicker Jake Moody despite his recent struggles following a high-ankle sprain.
Moody, who missed seven of his 30 attempts this season, including six in the past seven games, is believed by Shanahan to have long-term potential and the necessary mental and physical attributes to succeed.
Shanahan hopes that after recovering in the offseason, Moody will regain his form and perform at a high level.
