#Patriots LB Robert Spillane has officially been ruled OUT for Sunday’s matchup against the Ravens, per HC Mike Vrabel.
Vrabel adds that DT Christian Barmore, OLB Harold Landry, CB Carlton Davis, and CB Marcus Jones are QUESTIONABLE.
The defense’s depth is being tested.

“He’s just a dynamic back… This is a challenge where we have to be able to find ways to get to him early. He builds speed and is a tough tackle.”
Vrabel added that the Ravens are a great team with a proven track record of winning.

Reiss adds that Spillane’s absence likely means he will not be playing Sunday against Baltimore.

“The expectation is that [we’ll] play back to our identity. For 4 quarters. Not for a half, not for 3 quarters, not for 59 minutes and 59 seconds. For 4 full quarters.”
Hollins adds that they need to go back to doing what they’re comfortable with.
Ravens WR DeAndre Hopkins on the #Patriots:
“They play Vrabel ball and that’s solid football, don’t make many mistakes, gonna go out and try to dominate you. That’s what Vrabel’s instilled, and that’s why I think the switch from last year and this year [happened] with those guys. Having a coach like Vrabel out there coaching you, you wanna go out and compete, play hard. I played with him in Tennessee, so I see why those guys are playing the way they’re playing. It’s just solid football.”

LB Christian Elliss, who was also absent yesterday, was the only player to return to practice.

“Lamar [Jackson], everybody knows what he can do… Complete game changer. Has the ability to change the game with his legs and also his arm… [Derrick] Henry’s been playing amazing… They have a lot of really good skill players. Zay [Flowers], [Rashod] Bateman, [DeAndre] Hopkins, they go a lot of talent on the outside… It’s gonna be a challenge and we’re excited for it.”
