I know we would all love a deep threat for Drake, but honestly I don’t think it makes much sense to give up draft capital now, they have obviously exceeded expectations, but there is still plenty to be done team building wise, we need a pass rusher, arguably more than a true WR1. We also need a long term RT and C, and another CB to eventually replace Davis. I think that it would make sense to trade for a WR if it were a situation like when the Eagles got Brown, who was starting his prime, not on the tail end of it like he is now. Obviously this would take a lot more capital and somewhat contradict what I said, but if someone like (all impossible) JJ, Chase or Wilson would become available then sure, send the Micah package for them, but otherwise sending a first for someone like Olave or AJB just doesn’t seem like the right move at this point.

Jakobi Meyers, bring him back and he requested a trade earlier, I think he would be the easiest one to trade for, not saying it would be easy

1 Olave or 2 Waddle for Future 3 Aj Brown for this season Pats Should have been trading Kendrick bourne Jabril peppers and Kyle Dugger for extra draft picks instead of Trying to Save a Buck or 2🤑🧐😤

Olave is the smart move long term, but AJ is the play for this season if seriously making a run.

#Patriots QB Drake Maye on his block for TreVeyon Henderson:
“It’s hard for me to kinda ask them to block up front… [to give] effort and finish. I always tell them it’s tough for me because I never get to showcase that. I finally got an opportunity. I had a block earlier in the game that I wasn’t very proud of, so got a chance to get that back.”

#Patriots C Garrett Bradbury on TreVeyon Henderson:
“He’s a dynamic player…If we give him a little bit of space, he’ll take it to the house… Run plays to everyone else might not seem like aggressive plays calls, but when you got some backs like we have, they can be threats.”
The #Patriots are signing LB Chad Muma to their 53-man roster from the Colts practice squad, per @Schultz_Report.
In a corresponding move, they have waived OLB Caleb Murphy.
Today is Murphy’s birthday…
