<#Patriots> - <#Vikings> Joint Practice Notes [Full Pads] (8/14):

• WR Kayshon Boutte had a tremendous practice today making difficult catches when targeted — Boutte capped off his day with a Hail Mary TD reception with three defenders in coverage.
• QB Drake Maye made some great throws when given time — Maye was sacked about half a dozen times today.
• WR Efton Chism was consistently getting open during 11-on-11s which resulted in 2 TDs delivered by QB Josh Dobbs.
• WR Kyle Williams made a strong contested catch over the middle for a TD in 11s.
• WR Javon Baker had another nice day today which included a TD reception from QB Josh Dobbs in 11s.
• RB TreVeyon Henderson had two receptions over the middle during 7-on-7s with one being a TD — Henderson also outran the defense on an outside zone handoff for the TD.
• WR DeMario Douglas had a TD grab in 7s but had two bad drops in 11s.
• TEs Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper each had TD receptions during 1s — the veterans continue to be safety valves for QB Drake Maye in the end zone.
• WRs Stefon Diggs and Kayshon Boutte made some very nice plays during red zone 7s — QB Drake Maye and the pass catchers were in sync.

• S Craig Woodson allowed 2 touchdowns during red zone 11-on-11s — CBs Carlton Davis and Marcus Jones each allowed a touchdown as well.
• DTs Milton Williams (x2), Christian Barmore (x2) and OLB Harold Landry had would-be sacks during 11s — Williams did a great job of penetrating the backfield today.
• CBs Kobee Minor and Marcus Jones allowed multiple catches and struggled in coverage — each gave up one or more TDs in 11s.
• S Dell Pettus filled in for S Jabrill Peppers who was limited today — S Kyle Dugger continued running with the second team.
• S Kyle Dugger made a great adjustment to notch a pass break up in red zone 2-on-2s.
• Overall very rough day for the defense.
• S Jabrill Peppers and CB DJ James did not participate in competitive team periods today.
