1978. Five years old growing up in Northern California wondering what the hell a 49er was as a mascot and those colors sucked. Asking my friend's mom about other team mascots and they had a dolphin decal on their door so I asked about that. Once she told me the colors were aqua and orange I was in for life. David Woodly was the quarterback. Dan Marino blew my mind!
