Alex McGough, a 28-year-old player who plays as both a quarterback and wide receiver, has been waived from the injured reserve list by the Green Bay Packers.
McGough, originally drafted by the Seahawks in 2018, has bounced around multiple NFL teams and even spent two seasons with the USFL's Birmingham Stallions, where he was named 2023 MVP.
Aside from waiving McGough, the Packers also activated fifth-round safety Kitan Oladapo from the non-football injury list.
Prior to his release, McGough switched his position from quarterback to wide receiver.
