There was like 4 posts of BA. 2 of them in commanders hats and shirtless with a football, in good shape, and quoting some rap song that’s about telling your opps to shut their mouth. BA posted the above as a follow up to those. Basically, translated from CTE, aiyuk squashed 2 doubts: 1. That he wants to keep playing. 2. That he’s in bad shape and then added fuel to it by using that caption bc it shows he feels the niners have f’d him and they’re gonna find out / get the belt. Aiyuk historically has had issues with the niners management team, going back to early benchings in his rookie / sophomore years. Aiyuk also blames the Super Bowl loss on shanahan and the team as he claims he was barely targeted despite being their top weapon. Aiyuk also holds true that the contract negotiations were messy in large due to the fact that the niners didn’t value him where they should. Last one and this is crazy, aiyuk blames purdy and the niners for his knee injury as he believes it’s a suicide ball.
