I think the biggest lesson in the success of folks like Darnold, Daniel Jones, Baker, etc is that the QB position is one that requires being an understudy before being thrown in. It used to be that folks sat and learned what to and not to do for a few years before being thrown in. We should get back to that.

Different environment different result. Remember when the panthers had both him and baker?!? You can argue he hasn’t “clutched it” but that’s how the game works at a professional level. Not everyone can play at a professional level but the critics behind a keyboard can put in that kinda work
