Nope. Taken completely out of context. The shade was about Adam Schefter. And he was toeing the line and being diplomatic while pointing out the media are the entertainers and the players are the competitors. Also, Browns suck so who cares about Gabriel or Shamders.

tbf... it's the NFL. The job is to be entertaining. Maybe that's by being competitive. Maybe it's by being insufferably arrogant. Maybe it's by selling crab legs and lasik. But no matter what, they make money by entertaining.
