The sport is dangerous, these gentlemen are paid accordingly. Dirty hits are 1 thing, but what are defensive players supposed to do, play half speed while quarterback like Mahomes, Stroud, and LJackson step outside the pocket? Aren’t they running backs at that point? The position has change because of these protections but if quarterbacks don’t want to feel the full wrath of an inside linebacker then they shouldn’t leave the pocket. I don’t see Shaquan or king Henry crying about being hit. The league is enabling & encouraging QB’s to change the game and I for 1 am totally against it. If you join UFC you know you’re likely to break bones and bleed 🩸 and if you play a contact sport with helmets and shoulder pads you should be obligated to take the hits… Period !135
