My Philosophy on trading current studs for 2027 or 2028 picks: be careful!
Only do this in these cases:
1.) you believe the stud’s value is going down after the 2026 season (i.e older RB)
2.) you are actively tanking
Thats it.
If you are going to trade a young talented stud (i.e. Fannin, Egbuka) for a 2027 pick, why not get one more season of production from them on your team, then trade them after the season. Or at the trade deadline if youre not contending
